Bring your dog when you rent our two-bedroom vintage cottage in Waldport, on the Central Oregon coast about 20 miles south of Newport. 
Our home is comfortable, uncluttered and a bit rustic, with a huge fieldstone fireplace and original beadboard paneling. Everyone hangs out in the large front room, which adjoins a fully equipped kitchen, a newly remodeled bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed. Upstairs you’ll find a big bedroom with three twin beds and an open area with a futon sofa. The best part? A few yards from the front door is a path down to one of Oregon’s finest beaches, where we’ve spent countless hours since our parents bought the place in the early 1970s.
